Hybrid by Design.

 

I was born in Hong Kong, shaped by UK design sensibilities under British influence, and rewired by Japanese pop culture and K-pop music. Toronto is where it all fused into something that finally felt like home, and where MM7 found its frequency.

 

I’m not from the fashion industry, which is exactly why MM7 doesn’t behave like a fashion brand. My background spans visual design, fashion photography, and music-driven video editing - a mix that naturally became the foundation of the brand. Stylized. Engineered with intention. This is the energy behind MM7: everyday wear turned into a designed experience.

 

For years, I couldn’t find graphic T-shirts I actually wanted to wear. Friends said, “Just design your own.” So I did. Then came the signal: Pride events, Toronto streets, a Blackpink concert - strangers stopping me to ask where my shirts were from. That moment became the starting point: a brand at the intersection of music, fashion, and media, a remix of the places I’ve lived and everything I love.
